I began this radio show to explore New Orleans music and music-makers in an in-depth way, having loved so much of the music I'd heard and seen over the years. The research and the development of the show not only led me to search for so much New Orleans-rooted music, but also a primary focus on New Orleans-born or very near New Orleans-born artists, and to so many related books, documentary films, videos, television shows, and other sources.
